that a concernless vacation gives.
where time stops.
you can sleep.
you can think.
you can read.
whatever.
wherever.
alone.
no disturbance.
this certainly is peace.

a strong model?
i don't think so.
a desired one?
certainly yes.
at times.

does anybody drink for peace?
without any battle in recent past
or near future?

some do.

some like to appreciate peace.
others like to disturb it.
like a naughty kid.

dropping a pebble
in a pond of still water.
just for the heck of it.

sometimes, it's not important to make sense.
even with well thought out thoughts.
to enjoy it, is.
this happiness can come only with peace of mind.
a stillness. an eternity.

but this kid is naughtier.
he has ideas of grownups.
he drowns himself in a pond.
waits for stillness.
and takes a peg.

it shivers him.
from head to feet.
the water is disturbed.
from inside.
he relaxes and enjoys
the ripples
coming and going
trying to settle down the water.

slowly
it settles down.

another stillness.
another eternity.
another drink.
another shiver.
another ripple.
another stillness

such is the joy of drinking for peace !
