Desires that never get fulfilled
This often happens to me. Those who have read the following poem, often confirm that it happens to them as well.
The poem goes as:
The poem goes as:
STANDING IN A TRAIN
I was looking out,
in no hurry to get off.
I wanted to fly,
out in the fields
through the yellow corn
among the birds
in the warm Sun;
I wanted to be banged
at chest
by the running trees
and the posts passing by;
I wanted to try myself.
I wanted to feel
the rush of voltage
of those thick wires
in my veins.
I wanted to lie down
on the rail tracks
feeling
a soothing tickle
of the train
as it passed over me.
I was to try myself,
my strength,
my existence,
my abilities,
my confidence.
But I didn’t.
Thank you Consciousness!
